Thank you so much for supporting our cat welfare and sponsoring a cat 😸
This month we've welcomed another resident into our clowder.
He'd been at a local shelter for a while - maybe because he's 14 years old (?)😿 He had also been returned back to them once, for reasons we're not sure of as he is a very human friendly chap. 😺
If you've visited recently you may have been fortunate enough to have met him. His official name is now Magnus Maximus but you can call him Max.😽
He's settling in ok but had a bit of a set back as Alfie wasn't to sure about him at first. Maybe he was unhappy at another male coming onto his patch or thinking he needed to protect his girls or both! The result being Max is now obviously defensive and wary of him 😿
Nicky, Ethel and Urdi quickly accepted him but Verdi and Skuld seem to have picked up on Alfie's misgivings and are still wary.
We think Alfie is more relaxed now and only wants to get to know him but needless to say his first impressions have put Max off.
However, he does prefurr to be out in the cafe upstairs, rather than be alone in the back office, which we're taking as a good sign 🙏
Fingers crossed 🤞 that he'll like us and relaxes in, as he's a really lovely fella, and we’re sure you’ll agree when you meet him 😽
