The Heat is on

July ushered in the heat wave, 🌞 but this year we've been fortunate to enjoy the advantage of air conditioning upstairs in the cafe❄️. This allowed visitors to relax comfortably while spending time with us, and importantly, the cats could stay nice and cool instead of overheating in their fur coats. 🐈

Who would have guessed that cats, known for spending 70% of their time sleeping, would opt to sleep downstairs, by the window, in the heat? We certainly didn't, but they do 🥵 

When the air-con is upstairs but the cats are downstairs

As we know, they enjoy sleeping in the tightest spots, and one day, Alfie was nowhere to be found. After an extensive search, he was eventually discovered atop the glass case on Snorri's shelf💤 Could it be his cool spot?🤔
